GDEW101C01 10.1 inch e-paper display DES full color large2232x1680 nice and big 10.1" epaper with Color filter on top. Amazing technology and panel but hard to drive with EPDiy V7 board. Sending the huge 1.8Mb buffer takes about 2.2 seconds at full speed. https://reinkstone.com has built an epaper color tablet with this model. But they use a multi-core Linux and is of course faster than what I've tried. |

7.5" HDThis epaper took some trial and error to get it running since the Waveshare demo file did not have the right SPI commands. Only the black version is implemented but it won’t be hard to get the red/black working. It has a very nice resolution, costs almost the same as the V2 version 800*480, having 10% more resolution. Fonts render very nice using Adafruit GFX and our class. |

Inkplate 6Inkplate is a project that refurbishes Kindle screens with an ESP32 and a lot of extra goodies. We like it very much. Sadly, the black is not "as black" as in other Goodisplay models, but the refresh speed is awesome and we think the parallel communication protocol with fast refresh is where all future epaper technology is heading. We do not support this epapers in Cale-idf but there is an Inkplate-platformio implementation ready to be compiled in this display. |
